You step beside the closest bird, the dark blue one. It doesn't seem to mind your presence too badly. You hop onto the bird, but not quite correctly. It shuffles uncomfortably, then shifts a bit, sliding you into a better position.
"So..." you turn to Blaiz.
"Where are we going?""Apoc's lair. Where else would we go? We'll be taking the shortest route I know of. I just hope we don't run into any complications.""Complications? It can't be any worse than those cyborgs."Blaiz just gives you a look that tells you that it could be a

You walk over to the bird that Mastert just boarded and hop on. Woah. It's not trying to kill you. There is actually something in this world that isn't trying to kill you. Amazing. Then you get a painful reminder that there is something clinging to your leg. The hydras! The little one that is still clinging to you lets go and looks mournfully at you as you sit on the bird.

You try to walk over to the bird that Levi is heading towards, but you spasm reapeatedly, and look like a drunken idiot as you hardly manage to remain standing up. You fall on your face in a pile of dung. Well, you haven't lost anything... except your dignity. And you need a shower. It'll have to wait. Those birds are going to take off soon.

You see Thomas heading for the red/purple bird in the pack, and follow. You have a sudden urge to get to the bird before he does. You take it at a run, and try to make an awesome long jump onto it. Just before you land in a seated position, the bird shunts you off, hitting you hard in the crotch. You hit the ground. PAIIINNNNN!!!!

You watch as McDonald tries to mount the bird running, and gets owned. Owwww.... that must've hurt. After witnessing that, you have feeling that you'd better be more careful. You walk very slowly over to the bird, saying all the while,
"Good birdy.... Nice birdy...." You try to get on it, but it gives you an annoyed glare and pushes you aside with a wing. Rejected.
