Bing announced on July 12, 2017 the deployment of a new Entity Search API to take advantage of the data used by the search engine's Knowledge Graph . Only usable in the United States at first (Bing specializes in options only for Americans...), we can hope for a generalized deployment in the future. The Bing Entity Search API (Preview) interface can help you find ways to use the API easily. Bing has billions of entities for its Knowledge Graph, so there are huge opportunities to create powerful off page seo service and interesting applications by cross-referencing data and so on. Like any such API, Bing provides results in the form of a JSON array that can be searched to get to the desired information. Example of using the Bing Entity Search API for Knowledge Graph The Bing Entity Search API joins a long list of APIs including Bing Custom Search, Bing Web Search and Bing AutoSuggest. The new open program allows you to search across all Bing entities, including the catalog of information on local American businesses registered in the search engine, but also movies, music, etc. What's interesting comes from the API's coupling with Bing's artificial intelligence. Indeed, it is possible to use queries like "restaurants near me" to find places to eat nearby, or "Japanese restaurants in Bellevue" to find restaurants in a given neighborhood, etc. The Bing Entity Search API is available for free in its "Preview" trial version , but we can imagine that it will eventually become chargeable depending on the number of requests made to the search engine of course.
